About Padidar
Padidar is produced by the FACULTY OF CINEMA & THEATER at University of Art (Tehran). It was first published in January 2017 in collaboration with the Vice President for Culture & Social Affair, the Student Scientific Association for Film, and the Public Affairs Office of UA. It is accessible through the university's website, Telegram channel, and other platforms.
During its first period, and with the support of a collective editorial board, Padidar published five issues by November 2019, featuring special layout designs. It was founded by Payam Ghanipour, with Dr. Mohsen Hashmi, a faculty member of the university, serving as the Executive Director.
The authors of this journal include students, graduates, and professors from various universities, as well as well-known Iranian authors and filmmakers.
The fifth issue of Padidar (November 2019) features a special study on Iranian documentary film, with the participation of over 60 documentary filmmakers and scholars.
